Hallo Moritz,
leider hat Ralf Deine Frage oder Bitte noch nicht einmal gelesen.

Jedenfalls nicht eingeloggt, denn er war leider im Januar das letzte Mal im Forum.

Gruß

dear Ralf43 I am very interested in your double pendulum clock and would like to exploit your experience, and anybody else's, since I have started to build one myself although of a different kind, an electrical impulsed one. You can see a picture here

and some preliminary video of its manual operation at

I am working at the impulsing where I will do something like what i did with my 2 s pendulum https://sites.google.com/view/synchrono ... escapement
which worked really well compared to the original Synchronome mechanical escapement and it's so much easier to set up and control.
I am most interested in comments about the geometry of the suspension, you ideas about how it could work both in theory and in practice. Any idea if somebody has already tried a suspension design like that?
I am planning also at running the clock under vacuum, any experience about that would be welcome.
